First morning after the new environment

She peed right in the yard before we went inside. (PERFECT!!) She went right away to explore all the spaces, the bedrooms, the bathrooms, even the garage (she got a little lost and she really doesn't answer to her name yet). lol

She walked right up to my daughter and just gave her one gentle kiss and walked away.

Meeting our male sheltie was interesting. She looked at him, he tried to do the good ole sniff and she wasn't having it. As the already great mother, she put him in his place. (Graham is ever so persistent, so needless to say, there was a lot of correcting).

She found herself a spot she was comfortable with. She laid down. We put food out for her since her pain med was best after food. She let it sit for about 20 minutes, then gobbled it all up.

The night went on and we all went to bed. It's always fun to see how they'll manage. Do they know what a bed is? Do they know what a house is?

She doesn't know commands. She DOES read signals and will sit to show you she's patient. She WILL show her belly if you sound stern.

She decided the spot she chose in the living room was her spot for the night. Until about 3AM, she inched into the bedroom and laid on the floor. That was it though. lol

Come morning, she was much more herself, a little less sleepy anesthesia. She nuzzled my hand. More curious and explored more. Wagged her tail!!!
